POWER - Solar Plexus Chakra

The third energy center is the Solar Plexus Chakra and can also be called manipura. It is located an inch or two above the navel and is represented by the color yellow. It is the focus point for our power, will, sense of ego and authority, as well as self-control and discipline. This chakra often deals with raw emotions, like anger, frustration, intuition or gut feelings and being extremely sensitive, particularly to the emotions of others.

This chakra supports the spleen pancreas, stomach and liver. It is also the chakra that people with Fibromalgia need to work on. This is where we find the energy to turn the desires from the Sacral Chakra into action. The personality that develops during puberty is housed in this chakra. It is related to your self-worth. When in balance this chakra offers us; optimism and a healthy ego. It is the center of the will and the integration point of the higher and lower selves.

This is our power center, the blueprint for the power of peace. Making us ask ourselves, "how can I make the world a better place".

Here's how to heal this chakra and balance it:

Wear the color yellow when trying to balance this energy center.

Now, find a quiet place to bathe in the sun for about 15 minutes. Feel the sun's warming rays and concentrate on the area just below the breasts and above your belly button. Close your eyes and put your hand on this area and take a deep breath while imagining a ball of yellow energy vibrating and pulsing out from this energy center.

Here are some affirmations to say while your connecting to this energy:

I am the power of peace and I express this power in a peaceful way, my power is inviting, I am making a difference in the world, I am using my life to make a difference, I feel comfortable with my power, I am at peace with myself and my power, I am encouraging others to be true to their power, I raise the self-esteem and self-confidence of others, I am the power and presence of God, I am making a difference in my own life and the lives of others, I am grateful that I can express the power of God.

Now take a deep breath while soaking in the warmth of the sun. Let you ball of yellow energy absorb the rays of the sun then penetrate into you, giving you a sense of power. Own that power. Take a deep breath in, breathing in positive energy and then exhale slowly out and release all the negative energy inside you.
