Yellow is a color that reflects light, so it can appear even brighter than white. Rich buttery yellows bring a cozy warmth to a room and look good with reds, blues and greens.
Tip: Use yellow in window treatments, rugs, and accents if you can't commit to painting a whole wall.
Leafy and apple greens feel fresh and calming, so they're a good choice for rooms where the family gathers.
