YOUR HOME IS YOUR HAVEN

Fill your home with decorator

Forget what you've heard about color! The new theory? You can use your favorite hue to enhance any room - if you pick the right shade, says Barbara Richardson of AkzoNobel paints!

Got a shady north-facing room? Choose colors in full-bodied vibrant tones to brighten up the space!

Grab the sun!

Yellow is a color that reflects light, so it can appear even brighter than white. Rich buttery yellows bring a cozy warmth to a room and look good with reds, blues and greens.

Tip: Use yellow in window treatments, rugs, and accents if you can't commit to painting a whole wall.

Pretty playful!
Vibrant rose enlivens a space and evokes a mood that's playful and comforting. Tip: Studies show that bright pinks increase enthusiasm and confidence!

Crisp, cool and calm!
Leafy and apple greens feel fresh and calming, so they're a good choice for rooms where the family gathers.
Juicy fruit hue! Rich apricot tones are stimulating - without being overwhelming - and punch up neutral furnishings and    wood tones.
