Dangerous Deliverance

Ref.: Sermon by Bishop T.D. Jakes

Father God,

The truth about You is all around me, and I know it instinctively, not intelligently. But if I get bound up by the world it not only affects me, but it affects everything around me. So I will focus on my deliverance from the false, because then its not only me that goes through changes, but so does everything around me. Thank You , Lord, for my freedom. You have set me free from bondage, in my spirit and in my soul. And when You set me free, I am free indeed. When I get dressed up and go out in public and walk among Your people, I look like I have it all together, I look like I have progressed so far on the outside, but my mind still has not caught up to my outside. Sometimes I feel an overwhelming feeling of trouble coming. Sometimes I feel like I am being pursued, and it is hard to be polite when you are being pursued. I murmur and complain and I am fearful. But when I find myself feeling that way and thinking that way. When I find myself being fearful, I remember that that is false thinking, because that is not the way for me to act when I put my trust in the Truth. When I focus on Truth, and I put my trust in Truth, I know that something is about to happen. And my spirit and my soul get happy. I know, Father, that I am committed to my deliverance from the false. And I also know that my deliverance isn't an easy ride. I go through trials and tribulations. So that when I come through them to the other side, I come out stronger and I have a testimony. AMEN
