Reaching My Full Potential

Ref.: Galatians 3:2-5; 1 Peter 5:10; Philippians 2:12 & 13

Father God,

I am so thankful that I did not receive Your Spirit by following a long list of rules. I received Your Spirit because I heard the Truth and believed it. I began my life in Christ by the Spirit. Thank You, that You give me grace to do what You ask me to do. I pray that I would be led by the Spirit inside me in everything I do. I suffered for a short time, and now, You, who gives all grace, are making things right. You are making me stronger and You support me and keep me from falling. Thank You, that You have called me to share in Your glory in Christ, a glory that will continue forever. I know that You are changing me little by little to what You want me to be. I cannot do what You can do. I will cooperate with the Spirit inside me to work without fear and trembling. No matter how the people around me are acting, it is no excuse to act bad. I will not let unhappy people control my joy. I will remain positive and drive them crazy, because Truth is working in me to help me want to do and be able to do what pleases You. It is not by my own strength, You are working in me Now! I cannot trust myself to change by myself. That is why when I have trouble, You do not delivery me from it, You walk me through it. I know, Father, that is how You prepare me for what You want me to do in the future. I have seen You deliver people form their trials, and You have even delivered me from some bad situations, but I also know that most of the time I have to go through some pain to get the gain. I know that it grieves the Spirit for me to compete and compare myself with others, so I never want to do that. I want to just be me! AMEN
