Father God,
Thank You, that my Spiritual gifts come from Your Spirit inside me. He owns them and they belong to Him. I know that my gifts have a divine goal to accomplish. I have been baptized into one body through one Spirit and have been made to share in the one Spirit. I pray that by being indwelt with the Spirit I will use my gifts to edify others. I do not want to live my life in isolation. I want to love others, giving more honor to them than to myself. I am joyful because I have hope. I pray that I will be patient when trouble comes; praying at all times. I pray that Your children would agree with each other and not be split into groups. That we would agree with each other, having the same kind of thinking and the same purpose. I pray that Your children would not go on hurting each other and tearing each other apart. I pray that we would be careful or we will completely destroy each other. I pray that each one of us would use our gifts for the work of serving, to make our world stronger. I pray that we would be kind, loving and forgiving, just as You have forgiven us in Christ. I pray that the teaching of Christ would live in me richly. I pray that I would use that wisdom with thankfulness in my heart. Because I know that if I don't use my gifts, I will lose out on the blessing. I pray that I would use my gifts in love and that I would never come across cold as if what I am doing is routine and then become ineffective. I pray that I would encourage others and give them strength. Help me to love others deeply, with all my heart. I pray that I would express my gifts in love, because it is only when I am blessing others, that I can be truly blessed.
